ETL Series Stretching Leveler

INTRODUCTION

ETL Series Stretching Levelers (tension levelers) are often used in rolling mills for strip material shape improvements or correction. 2-bending rolls and 2-stretching rolls design. Four S-rolls and decoiler and recoiler are all driven by DC motors controlled by SIEMENS DC drives. Stretching Rate can be easily set on the friendly designed HMI touch screen. Six DC motors automatically regulating the tension on each sections.

The tension leveler is a system to correct strip shape (improves flatness) and improve the galvanized strip surface properties.

This system is generally located before the furnace equipment in order to correct the strip shape before it enters into the furnace equipment to avoid strip walking.
